Entering my 20's
Myself Anushka,
This is my first blog on a public platform, after thinking lot and a lot more, finally my thoughts are here.
I'm turning twenty in a month, next year. I decided to share some realistic thoughts of mine that I experienced in my late nineteen's. First, and the base towards a healthy life is to start loving yourself. Self love doesn't mean to follow Instagram inspired videos, they might look aesthetic, as today's generation needs everything straight out of Netflix and Instagram. Instead of comparing yourself to social media influencers, you should accept the way you are and eventually try to work on it. In the nineteenth year of my life I got to know many things, starting with people, how people around you slowly turn toxic and you won't even realize. Honestly, experiences will change your personality also how you react to situations would probably help more. So, selflove is doing what you like, how you want things to be done and at what time. Also, I'm in the last year of my graduation and literally have no "friends" from college. All of these are people whom I regret spending time with after coming home. I learned these people disturb my thought process and ruin my aura. Even some people whom I left behind in school, are disturbing my energy. I personally recommend you to find peace in your own company and just leave folks who drain your mental health. Being connected with god helped me more to find my true self and I really enjoy the time when I pray. Praying is not asking for your desires and wants from the supreme but asking him to accompany you for your entire life and eventually engaging your soul in the path of liberation. To survive in peace, you should really spend time with your own. Second and most important thing I realized is, your gut health is greater than achieving a glowing skin. I was highly influenced by beauty influencers using a long skin care routine, using tones of products on their face and what not. By the way I have acne since my eighth grade and still going through but a better condition. I tried pharmacy, homeopathy, different skin brands, no doubt those things worked but at the cost of money and temporary time period. So, a good diet, yoga, meditation, manifestation, prayers, discipline, dogs and basically finding your own company works with everything, no matter what it is, stress, anxiety, depression and even to come out from scrolling reels. Changes takes place, no situation is permanent. Being too honest, money is everything in this world, remember you're not ugly, you just don't have enough to spend endlessly on yourself. Also a true realization by my side, when you're happy you glow from within, find your happiness before you realize you're already half way gone just passing your time and regret about it later. When I summon up my words, I'll say, be happy and work on your goals, literally everyone of us is different but have one goal to earn and live best life, why not stay happy in this process and be connected with the supreme.
